What do we mean by “nothing”?
It is just resting? Is it doing something fun for no purpose?
Is it looking around and seeing what is in front of you?
Is it sitting somewhere and just seeing what you experience?
Technically, we can’t do nothing. We are always doing something, whether that is just breathing.
So what does nothing mean, that we can make a day out of?
The Baduanjin chi gung sequence is one of the most common forms of Chinese chi gung sequences.
Variously translated as Eight Pieces of Brocade, Eight-Section Brocade, Eight Silken Movements or Eight Silk Weaving, the name of the form generally refers to how the eight individual movements of the form characterise and impart a silken quality to the body and its energy.

I challenge you to a healthy and happy routine that has the potential to make your day better, every day. A routine that you can practice everywhere and at any time, doesn't require special equipment, special abilities or money in order do it. This practice has the potential to boost your immune system in a natural way. This practice is dance, one dance every day for 7 days. I’m talking about a 5 minutes practice every day.
We spend more of our time at work (or if you are in lockdown doing work) than we do with our family, our friends and our hobbies combined, so it's a terrible idea to spend all that time being unhappy or miserable.
Rather than a 7-Day challenge, this is designed more as 7 principles or activities to try, and to spend time looking at yourself and what you can do to create a happier world around you.
This challenge is about learning the first steps in self-healing and building confidence in mindfulness and self-awareness.
This 7-day challenge will introduce you to the principles of cyclical living as a route to Living Full.
You'll get clear on what a full-filled life means to you and learn simple and practical tools that will help you develop a healthier relationship with the four phases of any cycle. You'll leave with tools that you can apply and integrate into your life.
Tap into the energy of Spring and grow your dreams.
The sun is brightening, the days are getting longer. The stirrings of the birds and the buds on the trees match the yearnings in our hearts and bodies to move and create as the energy around us starts to rise.
Come with me on this 7 day journey to refresh your spirit and set yourself up for a Successful Spring.
